I visited Nha Trang again recently, and I spent a lot of time checking out some different hotels in the city. If it’s your first trip to Nha Trang, you have a ton of choices of hotels along the beach for all budget ranges and tastes.
🏨 Adamas Boutique (see on Agoda / Booking): I stayed here on my recent trip to Nha Trang. One of the best cost-to-value hotels I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. Very clean, and in a great location near the beach
🏨 Vinpearl Resort & Spa (see on Agoda / Booking): This is a nice beach resort on Hon Tre Island (where VinWonders is)
🎟️ Tours & Activities: this half-day trip to Ba Ho Waterfall or coral reef snorkeling
Compared to other popular beach cities in Vietnam, like Da Nang, Nha Trang is much smaller overall, but equally as nice. I live in Da Nang, but I actually like the ocean views and beach atmosphere of Nha Trang better.
Important note: The Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) is about 40 minutes from downtown Nha Trang. There are several resorts along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, the long highway leading from the airport to downtown Nha Trang. These would be fine for a beachside getaway, but none of them are in a convenient area for off-property exploring. You’ll want to download and use the Grab app to get around Nha Trang.
For this article, I cover hotels in Nha Trang that are all in or around the primary and most convenient area of Nha Trang. For more specific area details, see this guide to where to stay in Nha Trang. This guide covers things to do in Nha Trang.
I had a great time riding the cable car over the Nha Trang Bay to and from VinWonders. Here’s a video I filmed on the return trip to the mainland after visiting VinWonders.
If you’re pairing a Nha Trang trip with Ho Chi Minh City (both in southern Vietnam), this guide covers things to do in HCMC, and this one details the best areas to stay in HCMC.
The Tram Huong Tower in downtown Nha Trang is at the intersection of two major streets in a very central area, right on Nha Trang Beach. I’ve included it as a central reference point in my handy map below to help you pick a convenient place to stay in Nha Trang.
Map of Nha Trang’s Best Hotels
Here’s a map of the hotels mentioned in the article. All of the hotels I chose are in a convenient area. Feel free to look at other options around these choices. There are a lot of great cost-to-value hotels in Nha Trang. You can view the full map here.
How to use this map: Ahoy! Click the arrow in the top left-hand corner to view the list of hotels in Nha Trang. I color-coded my favorites as the purple bed icons. The yellow star is the main monument in the center of Nha Trang’s beach area. The airport (about 40 minutes away) is the black airplane icon.
Adamas Boutique Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
On my most recent trip to Nha Trang, I stayed at the Adamas Boutique Hotel (see on Agoda / Booking). This hotel is in a great location to explore Nha Trang. It’s less than five minutes from Nha Trang Beach. There are a lot of places to eat around the hotel. There’s a convenience store right across the street.
The rooftop pool isn’t the biggest, but the area is nice, clean, and has great views. I filmed this video from the rooftop pool at the Adamas.
The hotel overall is very clean. I stayed in their Deluxe Double or Twin (26m2), with City View, and paid under $50 USD per night. This included the breakfast buffet. This is a great value for a hotel of this quality in a great location in Nha Trang.

The breakfast buffet area was pretty quiet every morning. If you plan to eat around 7 or 8 AM, you’ll have a lot of space to yourself.
If you can ride a scooter, I rented one from a good place right around the corner (here) for 200.000 VND per day. It was a Honda Vario 160cc in great condition.
Melia Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
I stayed at the Melia Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire for a few days on a previous trip. Every Melia hotel I’ve stayed at has been great, and this was no different. It’s in a perfect location, less than 10 minutes from the Tháp Trầm Hương at Nha Trang Beach. Restaurants, eateries, and coffee shops surround the hotel.
I thought the hotel’s breakfast buffet was excellent — lots of choices. The breakfast dining area is one of the biggest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. It could easily seat a couple of hundred people. The rooms are spacious and clean, with small couches, good tables, comfortable beds, big TVs, and private balconies.

From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. All of the staff I dealt with were very friendly. Overall, this is a great hotel in a very convenient location in Nha Trang.
Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The 5-star Sheraton Nha Trang is on Tran Phu Street, directly across from Nha Trang Beach.
Here’s a video I filmed from outside the Sheraton in Nha Trang.
The full-service Shine Spa offers scrubs, wraps, massages, facials, therapy baths, and more. The hotel features five restaurants and bars, including a rooftop lounge overlooking Nha Trang. There is an outdoor children’s pool, an outdoor infinity pool, and a whirlpool. The fitness center is open 24/7.
The hotel is three minutes from the Nha Trang Center shopping mall and five minutes from the Lotte Mart supermarket. Pizza 4P’s Nha Trang, one of Vietnam’s most popular pizza restaurants, is at the street level downstairs.
InterContinental Nha Trang

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The InterContinental Nha Trang is a luxury beachfront hotel on Tran Phu Street. The hotel is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, a British-American brand that operates some of Vietnam’s best luxury hotels and resorts. The rooms here are well-appointed, with comfortable chairs, couches, tables, and desks. They also have private balconies.
This hotel is two minutes from the Sheraton and has excellent city, bay, and sea views. Also part of the InterContinental brand, the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is among the highest-rated resorts in Vietnam.
Diamond Bay Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The Diamond Bay is an affordable 5-star hotel next to the Sheraton. It benefits from the same great location at about one-third the cost. The hotel is on Tran Phu Street, across from the beach. It is attached to the Nha Trang Center shopping mall, which offers many restaurants, coffee shops, and one of Vietnam’s more popular gym brands, California Fitness & Yoga. Hotel guests get free access to the gym, which is a huge bonus. This is a very convenient hotel, with great value for the money.
Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa

Address: Google Maps
The five-star Sunrise Hotel and Spa is on Tran Phu Street, across from the beach. Here’s a video I filmed at the Sunrise Nha Trang.
The colonial-style hotel has 125 rooms, most with private balconies. It has one of the more scenic outdoor swimming pools in Nha Trang.
Next door to the hotel, on one side, is the Alexandre Yersin Museum, and on the other side, the Khanh Hoa Museum. The beach across the street is public, but the hotel has private loungers and umbrellas reserved only for guests. This location is slightly quieter than the hotels further south. Check my map above.
Nha Trang Palace Hotel

Address: Google Maps
This four-star budget Nha Trang Palace is behind the Diamond Bay Hotel on Yersin Street. For the price, it’s in a great location, about two minutes from Nha Trang Beach. The hotel has friendly staff and good facilities, but remember, it’s a budget hotel. The breakfast menu lacks variety and mainly has Asian food. Lotte Mart grocery store is next door, and the Nha Trang Center mall is around the corner. This is a good choice for a cheap hotel under $30 USD per night.
Havana Nha Trang Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The Havana Nha Trang is a very popular and affordable five-star hotel on Tran Phu Street across the street from the beach. The Havana has a private underground tunnel that connects the hotel to the beach. There are hotel-sponsored private bathrooms and showers at the beach. It’s also less than a five-minute walk to the Tháp Trầm Hương monument in the center of Nha Trang’s beach area. The city and Nha Trang Bay views from the outdoor swimming pool are excellent. This is a very convenient hotel.
Nha Trang Lodge Hotel

Address: Google Maps
The Nha Trang Lodge is a budget hotel in a great and central location. It’s at the intersection of Le Thanh Ton Street and Tran Phu Street, the two busiest roads in downtown Nha Trang. The beach is across the street. The Tháp Trầm Hương monument in the center of Nha Trang’s beach area is two minutes away. Restaurants, shopping, and coffee are steps from the hotel. It has free private parking, high-floor rooms with great views, and a breakfast buffet. Rooms can be had for under $40 USD per night.
Potique Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The Potique Hotel is a luxurious, award-winning boutique hotel on Hung Vuong Street. It is one of the best luxury hotels in Nha Trang. The hotel is designed in the Indochine style, combining French architecture with Vietnamese culture.
An excellent breakfast buffet includes Western, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese food. The Sen Spa is a full-service on-site spa offering different therapeutic treatments, including hot stones, herbal masks, and more. This is a great location, with shops and restaurants only steps away. The beach is less than five minutes from the hotel.

I had some great Bún Chả (a popular Vietnamese dish of grilled pork, noodles, and broth) down the street from this hotel at Bún Chả Ha Noi. I hope you like garlic!
Queen Ann Nha Trang Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The luxurious Queen Ann is across the street from the beach in Nha Trang. It is south of the more central area (see my handy map at the top), but still on Tran Phu Street.
Here’s a video I filmed at the Queen Ann Hotel in Nha Trang.
It has 276 sea-view rooms with private balconies. The beach across the street has private beach sun loungers reserved for hotel guests. Crossing the street can be a little hectic, so be aware. Hotel staff or security can help with this.
There are sidewalks on both sides of the street, and the entire area is very walkable. It’s about a 15 to 20-minute walk north on Tran Phu Street to get to the more happening downtown area of Nha Trang. I made this walk a few times while exploring Nha Trang. The Queen Ann Hotel has good value for money.
Navada Beach Hotel

Address: Google Maps • Hotel Website
The Navada Beach Hotel (see on Agoda / Booking) is north of the primary area of Nha Trang, but in a popular beachside location.
Over the bridge of Tran Phu Street, you’ll arrive on Pham Van Dong Street, which runs along Hon Chong Beach. This is a popular area for expats and people living in Nha Trang. It’s a pinch less convenient than the beachside area to the south, but this is still a nice place to stay in Nha Trang.
There’s a really cool attraction nearby called Hon Chong here. It’s a collection of rocks extending out into the ocean that you can walk out on. The views are awesome. Tickets are currently 30.000 VND each.
