Ho Chi Minh City is full of great coffee shops, and experiencing Vietnam’s coffee culture is one of my top reasons for visiting HCMC.
Little HaNoi Egg Coffee is one of the best spots for egg coffee in HCMC, and I’ve been a regular visitor for over a year. I’ve also visited their location in Hoi An several times, and you see my Google Maps review here.
At the time of writing, Little HaNoi has five locations in Vietnam. Four of them are in Ho Chi Minh City, and the fifth location is in Hoi An. They all have the same menu, friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, and great egg coffee and food.
Any of Little HaNoi’s locations is a great spot for breakfast, as you’ll see from my photos below.

Getting to Little HaNoi Egg Coffee
Little HaNoi has four locations in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hoi An.
In Ho Chi Minh City, three locations are in District 1, and the other is in District 3. They are mostly in convenient walking areas, though you may need to cross a busy street or two, depending on where you’re coming from.

In Hoi An, they have a very convenient location inside Old Town. The entire Old Town area, including the cafe’s location on Phan Boi Chau Street, is very walkable.
You can also reach the coffee shops by using the Grab app to order a taxi. Read more about getting around Ho Chi Minh City and Hoi An. If you’re coming from Da Nang, you can read about getting from Da Nang to Hoi An here.
Visiting Little HaNoi Egg Coffee
Every Little HaNoi location has the same cozy atmosphere and menu. You can view their menu here. When I visit, I always get an egg coffee — either hot or iced. This is their most famous item, and at 40.000 VND per cup, it’s a must-have.

All of the locations have air conditioning, and if it isn’t turned on when you arrive, they’re happy to do so if you ask. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

As I mentioned in the beginning, this is an excellent spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Ho Chi Minh City or Hoi An.
They have a number of different egg dishes, including scrambled, poached, and omelets. You can add avocado, shiitake mushrooms, ham, smoked salmon, smoked bacon, and spinach with garlic butter.
Their egg Benedict dishes are served with fruit and salad — these are excellent. They currently have seven different egg Benedict styles, including the Classic with smoked salmon and the Veggies option with avocado, mushrooms, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce.

They also have a number of different toasts and sandwiches. I recently had the Mango Toast and Banana Toast (each for 80.000 VND), which come with a small side of fruit. These were delicious and way more filling than I expected.

There’s also Spinach Toast, Tomatoes Toast, Egg Avocado Toast, Garlic Mushrooms Toast, and more. For sandwiches, there’s Beef Toast, Chicken Pesto Toast, Tuna Toast, Asparagus Salmon Toast, and more. They have 17 different toasts and sandwiches.
Other than coffee, they have a selection of smoothies, including mango, avocado, and mixed avocado and banana. They have teas and fresh juices, too.
