The Risemount Premier Resort Danang is in an excellent location in Da Nang. The hotel is right on Nguyen Van Thoai Street, which extends from the Han River all the way to the beach. The hotel’s design was inspired by the Greek island of Santorini.
See the Risemount Premier Resort (see on Agoda / Booking).
I stayed at the Risemount Premier for 10 days. While the hotel is classified as a 5-star, I have to say that it isn’t the most luxurious experience. What this hotel has going for it, though, is its great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, and value for money.
Here’s a video I filmed outside the hotel on Nguyen Van Thoai Street. This is a great area to stay in Da Nang.

The Risemount Premier Resort has two swimming pools. The ground-floor pool is pretty big and clean. It’s a nice atmosphere. There is a bar outside, too, right next to the pool.
Here’s a video I filmed of the courtyard pool area.
There’s another smaller pool on the rooftop.
The Risemount Premier Resort’s Location

Da Nang is split into two distinct sides: city and beach. The Han River, running north-south, splits the two sides. There are five bridges connecting the two sides of the city, with the Dragon Bridge being the central bridge.
The Risemount Premier Resort (see on Agoda / Booking) is on Nguyen Van Thoai Street on Da Nang’s beach side. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from My Khe Beach.
The Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is less than 15 minutes from the hotel. To get to the hotel from the airport, you’ll want to use the Grab app to book a taxi or prearrange an airport transfer through Klook.

However, once you’re settled in, you’ll want to book GrabTaxis through the Grab app to get around Da Nang. You can download the app here.
The biggest selling point to me is this hotel’s location. The hotel is surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and a lot of local conveniences. There are a few ATMs in all directions from the hotel. The immediate area is very walkable. Most of Da Nang’s beach side is walkable, actually. The Risemount is in a very convenient and central area from which to explore Da Nang.
You can use the Grab app to book a car/taxi to visit any of the city’s attractions. See my guides on visiting Lady Buddha, Ba Na Hills, the Marble Mountains, and My Son Sanctuary, all of which can be accessed from the hotel by hiring a GrabTaxi. You can also take day trips from Da Nang to Hoi An. This guide covers things to do in Hoi An.
My Stay at the Risemount Premier

As I said in the beginning, I stayed at this hotel for 10 days. This wasn’t a sponsored stay; I paid my own way, and this review contains my own opinion of the hotel. All photos and videos were taken by me during my stay.
Here’s a video I filmed of my room at the Risemount Premier. I stayed in the Deluxe King Room with Balcony.
Here are some more photos of my hotel room, as well as the bathroom. The room was very clean. I didn’t notice any ants or bugs. The cleaning staff also did a thorough job every day.
The room design is very simple. It doesn’t scream “5 stars” to me, personally. But the overall package of the hotel makes it a good value, 5 stars or not. The hotel ticks a lot of good boxes: great location, clean, good breakfast, two pools, friendly staff, and more.

My room’s bathroom was pretty clean; no issues there. The only problem I had was that the hot water in my shower seemed to come and go. And when it did warm up, it didn’t seem to last very long or get as hot as I’d have liked it. I didn’t complain because it wasn’t a big deal to me, so I don’t know if this is a hotel problem or only an issue with my specific room.
But because of all the positives of this hotel, the shower water temperature isn’t a deal breaker for me personally.

The hotel has four floors, with rooms and suites spread out on Floors 1 through 3. The breakfast area is on the fourth floor.
I found the hallways to be pretty quiet and clean, too.

The breakfast selection was good but not great. There were plenty of drinks, coffee, juice, and tea. There is a good selection of breads and pastries.
There is a kitchen window where you can order omelets. I made use of this every morning. I also put together bowls of yogurt and fruit.
I didn’t have any issues with the food itself — the variety just isn’t as expansive as other hotels. That’s just my opinion because I noticed plenty of other guests chowing down during breakfast.

The bottom line is that the Risemount Premier Resort (see on Agoda / Booking) is in a great location with pretty good value for money.
The rooms are clean and spacious. All of the staff were very friendly during my stay. The breakfast buffet was good, but just a little limited for me personally. But this is a very convenient hotel that can be had at a great price.
If you value location and convenience, this is a good place to stay in Da Nang. I would stay here again. If you end up staying here, let me and other travelers know how it went. Join my free Hoi An, Da Nang, and Hue travel planning group on Facebook!
